Light: Indirect or bright-diffused light is best. This is a well-lit location out of direct sun.

Water: Moderately moist soil is preferred. Water thoroughly when just the soil surface is dry to the touch. Do not all plants to stand in water or dry out.

Temperature: Cool - Prefers 60-65 daytime's and 55-60 nights.

Availability: January and February.

Color Range: Red, yellow, orange, maroon, blue, white and purple, often with contrasting eye.

Lasting Quality: 2 to 3 months

Key Tips for Success: A native European perennial with many hybrids developed especially as attractive potted plant. Green quilted leaves from a rosette and contrast nicely with the colorful flowers. English Primrose will not generally flower again indoors, but in the spring it can be planted outdoors in shaded location where it will flower in subsequent years during late spring and early summer.
