Welcome!
The Northern New England Home Garden Flower Show fills eight buildings with home and energy related businesses, crafters and fine artists, garden centers and our famous Meet the Chefs Cooking Series. We also fill six acres with lawn and power equipment, RV’s, boats, electric cars and additional products that couldn’t fit into the buildings.
In addition to our exhibitors (250+) who represent the home and garden industry, we have made the commitment to you to bring more information and businesses that represent alternative energy options to our show. We partnered with Smart HomeOwner Magazine last year, (a national publication specializing in creating innovative solutions for energy efficient, healthy, eco-friendly homes), and will continue this partnership in 2009. We introduced the Smart Home Owner Seminar Series, offering talks and demonstrations filled with the kind of information we need to make educated decisions on alternative energy options. We will continue to seek out businesses who will speak to us, the average consumer - in a language we can understand. Experts on Geothermal and other new, exciting and cost saving heating options, EnergySmart certified Architects, solar hot water and much more.
And then there is the Garden Marketplace…..an amazing assortment of commercial and specialized garden centers spilling over with perennials, annuals, veggie seedlings, shrubs, and some pretty unique and knowledgeable vendors. Some specialize in heirloom perennials and vegetables, many are organic and all are rated for the zone we live in. All are ready to take home and plant!
Whether you are a seasoned gardener or one who (like most of us) will always be learning by trial and error, we also hold a series of talks, slide shows and demonstrations in our “All things Growing” garden seminar series.
By popular demand, our Meet the Chefs Cooking Series returns for the fifth year. Expo 1 is transformed into a fun and enriching cooking experience. Theater style seating for 200 give attendees the opportunity to meet chefs from four and five star restaurants and resorts. Each chef prepares one of their signature dishes and share their secrets in the kitchen with the audience. This series is a true highlight in all our shows. Meet the Chefs features great chefs from Maine and New Hampshire, fabulous recipes and demonstrations, book signings and is just plain fun to watch. You can download some of the recipes from our past chefs from this website.
