Since 1989 the Institute of Floristry has offered basic, advanced, and specialized floristry training in traditional, contemporary, and European design to students from all over the world. Our main objective is to provide high quality education that supports each student’s professional and personal goals within the confines of students’ busy schedules. We offer day and evening courses for your convenience.
All students must begin with the 40 hour Floristry 1 Basic Design course. To register for this class you need the desire to learn about the artistic and aesthetic beauty and value of flowers. You must also be at least 16 years of age. Upon completion of this prerequisite course, students have the opportunity to continue training in the following areas:

Classes are 80% hands-on training. Complete 300 hours of instruction to earn a Diploma of Floral Arts & Sciences. Koehler & Dramm’s Institute of Floristry is licensed as a private career school by the Minnesota Higher Education Services Office. Our facilities, curriculum and teaching methods are reviewed annually.
