Modern Floral Design

Explore the modern style in floral design - modern line, line-mass, mass and layer designs. These stunning designs originated in Europe and are admired around the world. Learn the history of modern design and how and why it differs from traditional design. Explore new methods and mechanics and expand your learning and skills. You will create eye-catching wonderful designs. Some familiarity with traditional design would be helpful. A materials list will be supplied upon registration.

Introduction to Floral Design

Beginning with the basics, you will learn the methods to create beautiful designs over and over again using a variety of plant material. Just like a professional, you will learn to select and condition flowers and foliage and combine them into centrepieces and bouquets using the elements and principles of design and colour theory. Each week you will have a stunning flower arrangement to take home with you. No previous experience necessary. A materials list will be supplied upon registration.
